ABDULAZEEZ DALHATU (Managing Partner)

Abdulazeez Dalhatu, a consummate goal-getter,  is  a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Chartered  Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

 He graduated from the Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna in 2001 with a Distinction in Accountancy. He obtained a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2012.

He has cognate experience of over 20 years in the banking industry and consultancy before joining Oluyinka Afolayan & Co. (Chartered Accountants) as the Audit Manager in 2010 and later, J.E Bala & Co. (Chartered Accountants)in 2012. He left to set up Abdulazeez Dalhatu & Co. (Chartered Accountants) in 2015. He is experienced in  Audit & Investigation, Taxation, Consultancy and Information Technology.

OBAFUNSO RAHMON AGBOOLA (Associate Partner)

He is an Associate of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and also, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (CICMA).

He graduated from the Kaduna Polytechnic with an Upper Credit in Accountancy in 1995. He then proceeded to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Account (PGDAF).

He brought in more than 15 years cognate experience to the firm. He started his career with NITEL in 2002 as Manager, Financial Accounting and rose through the ranks to become Acting DGM, Finance (North West Zonal headquarters), Kaduna in 2009. Furthermore, he worked with Fred Eghulu & Co (Chartered Accountants) Kano Branch as Manager Audit from where he gained a vast experience in Audit. He is, until recently, a lecturer and a Director of MSL School of Management and Accountancy Kaduna. He is also a facilitator with the NNDC/ICAN Student Special Programme Initiative (SSPI).
